Creating the new KFC brand for the coffee and beverage store in store
We have just launched in Costa Rica and Ecuador the first pilot locations of K Point, the new coffee and beverage store in store we have created for KFC.
KFC, with more than 15.000 points of sale world wide, it is one of the brands of YUM, the largest company of restaurants in the world. During 2012 we have worked for the headquarters of Latin America in Miami for the new coffee and beverages sub brand.
K Point is the meeting point for KFC. A more relaxed place to have a coffee, have breakfast or enjoy a smoothie. In Firma we have build a team along with Decorner, our architecture partner to create all the touch points of the brand: from a napkin or the menu boards to the operational and structural solutions.
With KPoint we introduce in KFC the new tendency in fast food restaurants of coffee and beverage stores. A logical idea to cover the valley hours and offer a new and complementary experience that enriches and widens the brand territory.
The opening in San José (Costa Rica) and Quito (Ecuador) in July and November 2012 is proving KPoint as a succesful proposal that will expand to the different countries of Latin America and (we hope) to the rest of the world.
